Position: Systems Engineer

In this position, you will be a part of the engineering team which is in charge of systems concepts development for space missions. The team is also specialized in conducting principal scientific research and preparation of internal custom simulations software to facilitate its work. As a member of this team, you will have close relations with all of the company's departments while trying to solve technical problems and answer systems-specific questions. In particular, you will be able to cooperate with the Business Development team to provide insight into the systems architecture to the company's clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Trade-off and requirements management
  • Preparation of initial mission and systems concepts
  • Conducting principal research analysis in various disciplines
  • Conducting the current state-of-the-art analysis
  • Taking part in the preparation of the Concept of Operations and related documents
  • Supporting the engieering and Business Development teams
  • Maintaining and developing internal simulation and analysis tools

 

Required qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in space industry
  • At least a Master’s degree in a STEM field-related discipline
  • Experience in planning and conducting engineering projects
  • An interdisciplinary and systemic approach
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Speaking, reading and writing skills in English
  • Good communications skills
  • Ability to work in a team

 

Would be a plus:

  • Practical Python knowledge
  • System engineering experience (UML, SysML, MBSE)
  • Experience in working with marketing teams
  • Ability to work with LaTeX
  • Experience with orbital simulations software, e.g., GMAT, STK

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • Electronicdesign from prototype to the product of analog and digital circuits
  • Development of schematics and layout for printed circuit boards (like ARM Processors, and front-end circuits)
  • Measurement and characterization of electronic assemblies and functional tests to meetspecifications and requirements (incl. EMC, safety)
  • Participation in the system architecture development, and performing hardware reviews

Our requirements

  • Knowledge and experience with PCB design software (Altium Designer is preferable)
  • Familiarity with EMC / EMI concepts
  • Fudamentals of embedded systems software development (C is preferable)
  • Fundamentals of embedded systems software development (C is preferable)
  • Experience in 3D prototyping
  • Experience in low-volume manufacturing and testing
  • Experience in design from concept manufacturing
  • Supply chain knowledge and the risks of part selection during design
  • Experience with space-grade electronics components (nice to have)
